Big Bull Falls was pretty cool. I was so relaxed people were commenting on it left and right. I just hung out, and spent the day having fun in the GNBS tent. Then leaving early to go to the Pub and work.
It turns out that Candye Kane fucked us on her merchandise. Ripped us off for a couple of hundred dollars everyone seems to think, thereby making it mandatory that we do a buy out for Joe B. It was shocking to hear about it today. But so it goes...were never going to work with her again. And we can handle the merch differant going forward. Its done, and we probably lost 400 bucks. Its done though.
I met Bonamassa. Spent a lot of time with him. Several hours. He killed at hte fest I heard, but I was gone already. Then he came down to the club. Which was shocking, as he is a performer of stature. He asked if he could play one song, and he did 3 songs. The guy is a monster player. but really techie. Not my thing. But still differant from most.
He is no scott holt, but he is getting there. He is a cool guy none the less.
I hate that he was, I was so happy ripping on him.
